Top Record Jump in Norway
Burton Pro Rider Mads Jonsson hit this 130-foot tabletop on May 9, 2005. The table was built in the Hemsedal, Norway backcountry by park designer and builder Lars Eriksen. The jump took almost three weeks to build, and Mads sessioned it by himself—landing a backside 180 and a front three. Long tape measures conclude that Mads touched down at 187 feet, the longest air on record. |
