This article lists divorce and remarriage, domestic violence, and the uneven relationship between career and family as the main concerns of most American families. While introducing the above three main problems, the article also relates family problems to society, economy and culture; and provides us with a detailed analysis of the origins of these problems and their influences over society and individuals. Moreover, the article summarizes the family conception of the American public, analyzes the development and variation of the conception, and shows us a scientific prediction of American families’ future development trends based on the analysis.
